In order to facilitate
the smooth handling for individual travellers? and tour groups,
the following terms and conditions apply :
Reservations All reservations should
preferable be made as early as possible with detailed arrival and
departure dates, itinerary flight schedules, hotel alternatives,
group sizes (especially for reservations in Bali) at least 2 months
in advance.
Confirmation Confirmation of all
details including flights, hotel reservations and tour itineraries
are usually made by telex, facsimile or by airmail. No additional
charge is rendered for this service.
Payment Payment should be
made at least 2 weeks prior to the client?s arrival at the first
destination point, except during peak seasons where earlier deposit
may be required by individual hotels. Failure to comply with this
condition may result in the cancellation of all reservations and
arrangements without notice, unless special credit arrangements

Refunds A refund is not possible
without prior notice. All refunds are subject to the terms and conditions
laid down by individual hotels, restaurants, carriers, contractors
etc. A no refund applies for ?NO SHOW? or services not utilized
by certain tour members.
Cancellations Wita Tour will not
levy cancellation charges. However, cancellation charges may be
levied to you if the individual hotel, restaurant, carrier or contractor
etc, with whom the commitment has been made with, requests a cancellation
charge.
Tour Fees All prices quoted
in this tariff are nett in US Dollars and subject to change with
or without prior notice. Children Fees

Child using half twin : 100%
Child using extra bed : 75%
Child using no bed : 50%
Note : Children under 2 years of age are complimentary, however
no services are provided
Ground Services
Our tour package prices are inclusive of :
- Hotel accommodation, based on
twin sharing.
- Meals - as specified in the itineraries.
Breakfast is usually served in the hotel (American Buffet Breakfast).
Lunch and dinner are served at local restaurants (B= Breakfast,
L= Lunch, D= Dinner).
- Transfers from airport to hotel
and visa versa by an air-conditioned private chartered car /
coach, except for adventure tours where the transfer is specified
(seat in coach).
- Sightseeing tours: as stated
in tour itineraries by an air-conditioned private chartered
car / coach except for adventure tours where the transfer is
specified (seat in coach), and accompanied by an
English / Mandarin / Japanese speaking guide. (Other language
speaking guides are available upon request).
- Admission fees to all attractions
as stated in the tour itineraries.
- Porter service for a maximum
2 pieces of normal sized luggage per person with the total weight
not exceeding 20 kgs.
Our tour package prices do not include :
- Expenses of a purely personal
nature such as laundry, phone calls, room services etc.
- Excess baggage charges.
- Airport tax
- Domestic air transportation
- Airport services: immigration
and customs procedures
- Visa expenses and charges
- 1% Value Added Tax
- Any type of Travel Insurance
Liability Wita Tour (P.T. Wisata
Dewa Tour & Travel Service) and its agents act only as the agent
of the passenger(s) in all matters relating to hotel accommodation,
sightseeing tours and transport whether by aircraft, rail, motor
coach, ship, boat or any other means of transportation and shall
not be liable for injury, delay, loss or damage arising from any
cause and in any manner, while exercising reasonable care in making
such arrangements. Furthermore, Wita Tour (P.T. Wisata Dewa Tour
& Travel Service) accepts no responsibility for any damage or
delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour dispute, machinery breakdown,
quarantine, government restraints, weather or anything else caused
beyond their personal control. The right is reserved to cancel or
change itineraries or to substitute services without notice and
decline to accept or retain any tour members at any time. No refund
shall be entertained for any act, omission of event during the time
passenger(s) forming the group changes his/her mind by not attending

Visa All travellers to
Indonesia must be in the possession of a passport valid for a minimum
of 6 months when entering the country or applying for a visa. Nationals
of the following countries can visit Indonesia for a period of two
months without a visa, provided they hold a confirmed onward or
return ticket: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei,
Canada, Chile, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,
Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Japan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein,
Luxembourg, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Monaco,
Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore,
Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey,
United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America,
Venezuela, Yugoslavia and Taiwan. Other than the
above listed countries require a tourist visa, which can be obtained
from any Indonesian Embassy or Consulate.
Health International pox,
cholera and yellow fever vaccinations are required only for those
coming from infected areas.
Customs Customs allow on entry
per adult: a maximum of two liters of alcoholic beverages, 200 cigarettes
or 50 cigars of 100 grams of tobacco and a reasonable quantity of
perfume.
Language The official language
of the country is Bahasa Indonesia although most regions have their
own local dialect. However, all persons engaged within the tourism
industry understand English.
Currency The local currency
is Rupiah (Rp), but US Dollars and other major currencies can be
changed in hotels, banks and money changer outlets.
Climate Indonesia is a tropical
nation that experiences only two seasons - wet and dry. Average
daily temperatures range between 24C - 33C with a high level of
humidity. Dry Season: May to October Wet Season : November to April.
Clothing Due to the humid conditions
it is advisable to dress in lightweight casual summer clothes made
of a natural cloth such as cotton. More formal clothing such as
suit and ties are required to be worn only for official and special
occasions.

Tipping Tips for porters and
bell boys is usually Rp3,000- for each piece of baggage and is to
given at guests personal discretion. A 10% tip at hotels and restaurants
is normally adequate, unless a service charge has already been incorporated
into the bill. Taxi drivers also expect a 10% tip from the total
amount of the fare.
Taxis Metered taxis are
available in all major cities and have a minimum surcharge of Rp.3,000-
on the meter (this may vary in different cities).
Airport Tax International Departures:
Rp.100.000- Domestic Departures: Rp. 11.000-.
Credit Cards All major credit cards
are widely accepted including: American Express (AMEX), Visa, Diners
Club, Master Card and IBC. Travellers Cheques can be easily exchanged
at hotels, banks and money changers providing you have positive
proof of identification such as a passport.
Shopping All large cities have
shopping arcades, malls, supermarkets and department stores where
prices are fixed. The business hours of most shops is 10.00 am until
09.00 pm Monday to Saturday with half day trading on Sunday. At
small stalls and markets to is customary to bargain, starting at
approximately half of the asking price and going up to what you
are prepared to pay.
Electricity 220 volts, however
small towns and villages generally have a 110 volt capacity. |
